My stride for the entire marathon, and the reason I don't do road races. Exaggerated leaping is slightly more justifable if there are rocks and roots below your feet.
Zane Grey Highline 51 Miler, 2006, starting line.
Zane Grey Highline, the trail.
I nearly tripped over every single one of these rocks.

Neither, how about Jelly Bellys?
Old School Jelly Bellys or the new "endurance" Jelly Bellys?
Clif bloks rock. I love them that's all I pretty much at Saturday at Mi-Wok.
The UD hand held I like. that's what I use. I didn't hear your friends maybe because I was wearing my MP3.
I would of run the 50 miler at Diablo if I knew I could move faster. I was happy with the 50k and had fun.
Catra
Never tried either, but I use Clif bars and Clif Shots, so I'll go with Clif bloks. Not nearly as good as pickles though!
I vote for gummy bears.
Endurance Jelly Bellys are the thing. Just came out with 2 new flavors I have to try before the Big Horns
Cliff Bloks!
Clif Blocks. I haven't seen the "endurance" Jelly Belly's but they might be a weener!
Sharkies. The originals!
